Welcome to the Santa Cruz Elks Lodge! We were established in 1903 and are located in sunny Santa Cruz.
Our Lodge features a large dining room and bar, along with a separate bar area, swimming pool, and gym. Various hours are posted on the right. Lodge rental is available for private parties, gathering and events up to 300. Please contact the Lodge office at 831-423-8240 for more information.

How to Join

To join, download the application here: Application. Once completed, return to the Lodge office with a $100 processing fee.

If you are already a member of another Lodge and wish to join a different one, you need to fill out this form: Request for Release and return it to the Lodge with a $25 processing fee.

The process: Our Lodge meets on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of each month, and everything is predicated upon these two days. If you application is received before noon on the 4th Thursday, you will be initiated the following month. Once your application and fee are submitted, you will be required to attend an Investigation on the Wednesday prior to the 2nd Thursday. This meeting lasts about an hour. After that there is an Orientation at 7:00p on the Wednesday prior to the 4th Thursday, again this lasts about an hour and your sponsor and partner if any are encouraged to attend. Finally, Initiation is at 7:00p on the 4th Thursday. You and your sponsor are invited to a free steak dinner at 6:00p this night. The meeting lasts 1:30 – 2 hours.

Bar Open Every Friday Evening

We are serving up fun for all every Friday evening at the Lodge year-round! The bar is open every Friday from 4:00pm-8pm for members and their guests. Join in the Lodge activities and bring friends! Poker Tournaments are back too! Every 2nd and 4th Friday starting in April!

Small gatherings for members and their guests may also be scheduled for Friday evenings by contacting the Lodge office at 423-8240 during weekday business hours to verify space availability or emailing requests to sec824@santacruzelks.org

Bar & restaurant are open to Elk members and their guests only. On the 2nd and 4th Thursday they are open only to Elks members.
